2.3 Laboratory and office facilities

The institute occupies an area of
 

ca. 1200 m2 laboratory space
ca. 480 m2 infrastructural areas (machine shops, computer facilities, seminar room, library)
ca. 460 m2 office space

in a building which was completed in 1994.

A laboratory of the Institut für Anorganische Chemie (Prof. Herberhold) is used by the NMR spectroscopy group.
