The project HYDROSPHEAR explores how H2O may be stored in minerals of the Earth’s lower mantle and is funded by the European Research Council (ERC).

The Emmy Noether Research Group QuakeID aims at deciphering the rupture processes of deep earthquakes which occur at depths larger than 60 km.


The Geoastronomy project is a transdisciplinary research team focusing on the chemical foundations of rocky exoplanets and the biogeodynamics.
